Orange County Estate Planning Attorney James F. Roberts discusses the importance of continuing education for estate planning.
Continuing Education and What That Means For Our Clients
In order for an attorney in California to stay current they have to complete 23 hours of continuing education per year (every third year they must complete 25 hours of continuing education. This is what the state bar mandates to maintain being current on the law. Each one of the presenters in the video and members of the team have had in excess of 150 hours of continuing education in the last year. This is important because it allows us to constantly learn new techniques and to keep up-to-date on the laws as they may have slightly changed over time or radically changed at times as well. We strive to ensure that we are always providing experienced attorneys who maintain the most up-to-date techniques through continuing education for our clients.
