We are delighted to share that 2025 Annual Successor Trustee Workshop was our most successful yet, with over 300 clients and their families joining us both in person and online. As far as we know, we are the only estate planning firm that offers an educational seminar specifically for our clients’ successor trustees.
Our goal in hosting this annual event is to provide practical information that helps trustees avoid confusion, mistakes, and conflict. We believe every family deserves peace of mind—knowing their wishes will be honored and their loved ones cared for.
We really believe that estate planning is not just our occupation—it is our calling. Our mission: leaving the world a better place, one family at a time. It is our honor to be able to provide this resource to our clients. This event is always one of the highlights of our year because it gives us the opportunity to bring our community together, provide clarity, and prepare families for one of life’s most important responsibilities: administering a trust.
This year’s program covered essential topics, including:
- The real responsibilities of a successor trustee
- Steps to take if a loved one becomes incapacitated or passes away
- Managing trust assets and making distributions
- Basics of taxes, healthcare directives, and powers of attorney
- Proposition 19 property transfer rules and how to protect your home
- Medi-Cal qualifying planning and preparing for future care needs
We understand these can be complex subjects, but our goal is always to simplify the process and provide tools that give peace of mind to you and your loved ones.
